70-MEARİC
Mekke'de nâzil olan bu sûre, 44 (kırk dört) âyettir. Adını, üçüncü âyetindeki "el-meâric" kelimesinden almıştır. Meâric, "ma'rec"in çoğulu olup "yükselme dereceleri" demektir.
1- Bir isteyen, olacak azabı istedi.
2- Kâfirler için onu savacak yok.
3- O, derece ve makamların sahibi Allah'tandır.
4- Melekler ve Ruh miktarı ellibin yıl süren bir gün içinde ona çıkar.
5- O halde güzel bir sabır ile sabret.
6- Çünkü onlar onu uzak görürler.
7- Biz ise onu yakın görüyoruz.
8- O gün gök erimiş bir maden gibi olur.
9- Dağlar da atılmış renkli yün gibi olur.
10- Dost dostun halini soramaz.
11- Birbirlerine gösterilirler. Suçlu o günün azabından kurtulmak için fidye vermek ister; oğullarını,
12- Eşini ve kardeşini,
13- Kendisini barındıran, içinde yetiştiği tüm ailesini,
14- Ve yeryüzünde bulunanların hepsini ki, tek kendini kurtarabilsin.
15- Hayır, o alevlenen bir ateştir.
16- Derileri kavurur, soyar.
17- Çağırır, sırtını dönüp gideni,
18- Mal toplayıp kasada yığanı,
19- Doğrusu insan dayanıksız ve huysuz yaratılmıştır.
20- Kendisine kötülük dokundu mu sızlanır.
21- Kendisine hayır dokundu mu cimrilik eder.
22- Ancak namaz kılanlar bunun dışındadır.
23- Onlar ki namazlarını sürekli kılarlar.
24- Onların mallarında belli bir hak vardır,
25- Hem isteyen için, hem de istemekten utanan yoksul için.
26- Onlar ki ceza gününü tasdik ederler.
27- Rablerinin azabından korkarlar.
28- Çünkü Rablerinin azabından emin olunmaz.
29- Onlar ki ırzlarını korurlar.
30- Ancak zevcelerine ve cariyelerine karşı hariç. Çünkü onlara yaklaştıklarında kınanmazlar.
31- Bundan ötesini isteyenler, var ya işte onlar haddi aşanlardır.
32- Onlar emanetlerini ve ahitlerini gözetirler.
33- Şahitliklerinde dürüsttürler.
34- Namazlarına devam ederler.
35- İşte bunlar cennetlerde ağırlanırlar.
36- Şimdi ne oluyor o inkâr edenlere ki, sana doğru boyunlarını uzatarak koşuyorlar:
37- Sağdan ve soldan bölük bölük.
38- Onlardan herbiri, bir nimet cennetine sokulacağını mı umuyor?
39- Hayır, biz onları bildikleri şeyden yarattık.
40- Artık o doğuların ve batıların Rabbine yemine ne gerek, elbette bizim gücümüz yeter.
41- Onları kendilerinden daha hayırlı olanlarla değiştirebiliriz ve bizim önümüze geçilmez.
42- O halde bırak onları, kendilerine vaad edilen günlerine kavuşuncaya kadar dalıp oynayadursunlar.
43- O gün kabirlerden hızlı hızlı çıkacaklar, sanki putlara gidiyorlarmış gibi fırlayacaklar. 44- Gözleri düşük, kendilerini bir alçaklık saracak da saracak. İşte onlara vaad edilen gün, o gündür. |
70. The Ways of Ascent
(Al-Màárij)
Revealed before the Hijrah. This chapter has 44 verses.
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
1. A questioner asked about a Chastisement to befall-
2. The Unbelievers, the which there is none to ward off,-
3. (A Penalty) from Allah, Lord of the Ways of Ascent.
4. The angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a Day the measure whereof is (as) fifty thousand years:
5. Therefore do thou hold Patience,- a Patience of beautiful (contentment).
6. They see the (Day) indeed as a far-off (event):
7. But We see it (quite) near.
8. The Day that the sky will be like molten brass,
9. And the mountains will be like wool,
10. And no friend will ask after a friend,
11. Though they will be put in sight of each other,- the sinner's desire will be: would that he could redeem himself from the Chastisement of that Day by (sacrificing) his children,
12. His wife and his brother,
13. His kindred who sheltered him,
14. And all, all that is on earth,- so it could deliver him:
15. By no means! for it would be the Blazing Fire!-
16. Plucking out (his being) right to the skull!-
17. Inviting (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from the Right).
18. And collect (wealth) and hide it (from use)!
19. Truly man was created very impatient;-
20. Fretful when evil touches him;
21. And niggardly when good reaches him;-
22. Not so those devoted to Prayer;-
23. Those who remain steadfast to their prayer;
24. And those in whose wealth is a recognized right.
25. For the (needy) who asks and him who is deprived (for some reason from asking);
26. And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment;
27. And those who fear the punishment of their Lord,-
28. For their Lord's punishment is not a thing to feel secure from;-
29. And those who guard their chastity,
30. Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed,
31. But those who trespass beyond this are transgressors;-
32. And those who respect their trusts and covenants;
33. And those who stand firm in their testimonies;
34. And those who (strictly) guard their worship;-
35. Such will be the honored ones in the Gardens (of Bliss).
36. Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee-
37. From the right and from the left, in crowds?
38. Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss?
39. By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know!
40. Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly-
41. Substitute for them better (men) than they; And We are not to be defeated (in Our Plan).
42. So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!-
43. The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchers in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),-
44. Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! |
