50-KAF Mekke'de inmiştir. 45 (kırk beş) âyettir. "Kaf" harfi ile başladığı için bu adı almıştır.   1- Kâf. Şanlı ve şerefli Kur'an'a andolsun ki, 2- Doğrusu kâfirler kendi içlerinden uyarıcı bir peygamber geldiğine şaşırdılar da dediler ki: "Bu şaşılacak bir şeydir! 3- Öldüğümüz ve bir toprak olduğumuz vakit mi (tekrar) dirileceğiz? bu dönüş çok uzaktır." 4- Fakat biz toprağın onlardan neyi eksilttiğini elbette biliyoruz. Yanımızda herşeyi kaydedip muhafaza eden bir kitap vardır. 5- Doğrusu hak kendilerine geldiği zaman yalanladılar da şimdi karmakarışık bir ıztırap içindeler. 6- Artık üstlerindeki göğe bakmazlar mı ki, onu nasıl bina etmiş ve süslemişiz, onun hiç bir çatlağı yoktur. 7- Yeri de nasıl uzatmış, üzerine sabit dağlar oturtmuşuz. Orada görünüşü güzel her çeşit bitkiden çiftler yetiştirdik. 8- Bunlar, Allah'a yönelen her kula gönül gözünü açmak ve ona ibret vermek içindir. 9- Bir de gökten bereketli bir su indirip de onunla bağlar, bahçeler ve biçilecek taneler bitirmekteyiz. 10- Tomurcukları birbiri üzerine dizilmiş uzun boylu hurma ağaçları yetiştirdik. 11- Bunları kullara rızık olması için (yetiştirmekteyiz). O su ile ölü bir toprağa can verdik, işte hayata çıkış da böyledir. 12- Onlardan önce Nuh'un kavmi, Ress halkı ve Semûd da yalanlamıştı. 13- Âd, Firavun, Lût'un kardeşleri de (yalanladılar). 14- Eyke halkı ve Tübbâ kavmi de, bunların hepsi peygamberleri yalanladılar da (onlara) azabım hak oldu. 15- Biz ilk yaratmada acizlik mi gösterdik? Doğrusu, onlar yeni bir yaratılıştan şüphe içindedirler. 16- Andolsun insanı biz yarattık ve nefsinin kendisine fısıldadıklarını biliriz. Ve biz ona şah damarından daha yakınız. 17- Onun sağında ve solunda oturmuş iki melek zabıt tutarken, 18- İnsan hiçbir söz söylemez ki yanında (onu) gözetleyen, dediklerini zapteden bir melek hazır bulunmasın. 19- Ölüm sarhoşluğu gerçekten geldiğinde, "Ey insan! İşte bu senin öteden beri kaçtığın şeydir." denir. 20- Sur'a üfürülür, işte bu, tehdid(in gerçekleşme) günüdür. 21- Her can, kendisiyle beraber bir sevk memuru ve bir şahid bulunduğu halde gelir. 22- (Allah ona) "Andolsun sen bundan gaflet içinde idin. Şimdi senden gaflet perdesini kaldırdık. Bugün artık gözün keskindir." der. 23- Beraberindeki melek "işte yanımdaki hazır" der. 24- (Allah iki meleğe buyurur ki:) "Haydi ikiniz, atın cehenneme her inatçı nankörü! 25- İyiliklere (sürekli) engel olan, saldırgan, şüpheciyi. 26- O ki Allah'ın yanında başka ilâh edinmiştir. Haydi ikiniz birlikte onu şiddetli azaba atın." 27- Yanındaki arkadaşı (şeytan) der ki: "Rabbimiz! Ben onu azdırmadım. Fakat kendisi derin bir sapıklık içindeydi". 28- Allah buyurur ki: "Huzurumda çekişmeyin! Ben size daha önce uyarıcı göndermiştim." 29- Benim huzurumda söz değiştirilmez. Ve ben kullara asla zulmedici değilim. 30- Biz O gün cehenneme: "Doldun mu?" diyeceğiz. O da: "Daha fazla var mı?" diyecektir. 31- Cennet de kötülükten sakınanlara yaklaştırılır. Zaten uzak değildir. 32-33- Onlara denir ki: "İşte size vaad edilen bu cennet, Allah'a yönelen, O'nun emirlerine riayet eden, görmediği halde Rahman olan Allah'tan korkan ve O'na yönelen bir kalple gelenlere mahsustur. 34- "Şimdi selam ve selametle oraya girin. İşte sonsuzluk günü budur." 35- Orada onlara ne isterlerse vardır. Katımızda daha fazlası da vardır. 36- Ey Muhammed! Biz onlardan önce kendilerinden daha kuvvetli olan ve beldeleri delik deşik eden nice nesilleri helak ettik, hiç kurtuluş var mı? 37- Şüphesiz ki bunda kalbi olan ve hazır bulunup kulak veren kimse için elbette bir öğüt vardır. 38- Andolsun ki biz gökleri, yeri ve ikisi arasındakileri altı günde yarattık, Bize hiçbir yorgunluk da dokunmadı. 39- Ey Muhammed! Onların söylediklerine karşı sabret. Güneşin doğuşundan önce (sabah namazını) ve batışından önce de (öğle ve ikindi namazalarını kılarak) Rabbini Hamd ile tesbih et. 40- Geceleyin (akşam ve yatsı namazlarını kılarak), namazlardan sonra da (vitir ve nafile kılarak) O'nu tesbih et. 41- Bir münadinin yakın bir yerden sesleneceği güne kulak ver. 42- O gün insanlar, o çağrıyı gerçek olarak duyarlar. İşte bugün, kabirlerden çıkış günüdür. 43- Gerçekten biz hem yaşatırız, hem öldürürüz. Sonunda dönüş yalnız bizedir. 44- O gün yer yarılır, insanlar kabirlerinden çabucak çıkarlar. İşte bu, sadece bize göre kolay bir toplanmadır. 45- Biz onların söylediklerini daha iyi biliriz. Sen onlara karşı zor kullanacak değilsin. O halde sen, benim tehdidimden korkanlara bu Kur'ân ile öğüt ver.

50.Qaf Revealed before the Hijrah. This chapter has 45 verses. In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.   1. Qáf: by the Glorious Qurán (thou art Allah's Messenger) 2. But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 3. "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 4. We already know how much of them the earth takes away: with Us is a Record guarding (the full account). 5. But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 6. Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 7. And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 8. For an insight and a reminder to every servant turning (to Allah). 9. And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and grain for harvests; 10. And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 11. As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: thus will be the Resurrection. 12. Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamüd, 13. The Àd, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lüt, 14. The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 15. Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 16. It was We Who created man, and We know what suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 17. Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and note them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 18. Not a word does he utter but there is a vigilant Guardian. 19. And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 20. And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 21. And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 22. (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 23. And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 24. (The sentence will be:) "Throw, both of you, into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 25. "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 26. "Who set up another god beside Allah: throw him into a severe chastisement." 27. His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 28. He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 29. "The Word changes not with Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 30. The Day We will ask Hell, "Art thou filled to the full?" It will say, "Are there any more (to come)?" 31. And the Garden will be brought nigh to the Righteous,- no more a thing distant. 32. (A voice will say:) "This is what was promised for you,- for every penitent heedful one, 33. "Who feared the Most Gracious unseen, and brought a heart turned in devotion (to Him): 34. "Enter ye therein in Peace and Security; this is a Day of Eternal Life!" 35. There will be for them therein all that they wish,- and there is more with Us. 36. But how many generations before them did We destroy (for their sins),- stronger in power than they? Then did they wander through the land: was there any place of escape (for them)? 37. Verily in this is a Message for any that has a heart and understanding or who gives ear and is a witness. 38. We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us. 39. Bear, then, with patience, all that they say, and celebrate the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting. 40. And during part of the night, (also,) celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the prostration. 41. And listen the Day when the Caller will call out from a place quiet near,- 42. The Day when they will hear a (mighty) Blast in (very) truth: that will be the Day of Resurrection. 43. Verily it is We Who give Life and Death; and to Us is the Final Return- 44. The Day when the Earth will be rent asunder, letting them hurrying out: that will be a gathering together,- quite easy for Us. 45. We know best what they say; and thou art not one to compel them by force. So admonish with the Qurán such as fear My Warning!
